Monsoon Vajra and Anshi ghat

If one would drive on the Anshi ghat, it is difficult to miss this waterfall that appears suddenly on a turn. Vehicles would stop or at least slow down for a moment to have a glimpse of this white beauty.

The Forest department has put a viewpoint just next to the falls, which double up as a place to consume food for few people.

This waterfall is called Vajra falls. Almost all waterfalls in the area are called by the same name. Since this falls bestows its beauty only during monsoon, I have named it “Monsoon Vajra”!!

Anshi ghat road. Don’t be tempted by these smooth roads!! There are few horrible stretches as well.

This photo was clicked just before the start of Anshi ghat.
